Today we have honor to interview one excilent DJ from France.Maxxx was born in 1979 in Mulhouse, France. It is in 1998 that Max bought his first two decks MK2 and his first mixing desk.
He started playing Acid style and continued on Trance.
He’s currently focus on a Techno style which is appropriate to himself because he produces his own samples and musics. His typical style and his love for electronic music will surprise you. Every set is an escape in his own world. His sets got always something special, it is a musical delight for each mood, moment and atmosphere. Having spent more than 2 years within an association of events which was called O’zone , based in Alsace / France in 2003. Maxxx took the decision to strike out on his own and created in June, 2006 his own association called 68 DECIBEL, based in Alsace/France. The aim of 68 DECIBEL was the organization of musical events, “open air” “themes parties”, meetings, music festivals. Festival Atmosferik, Radio.In France, Switzerland, Germany, etc…

In 2016 DECIBEL 68 was dissolved.

Currently, Maxxx is continuing his way between scene, Live, mix & production. He’s living at Basel in Switzerland, where his recording studio is based.


Lisa : Was there something (an experience) or someone in your life that was the “catalyst” for you to start writing music? Tell us about it.

First of all inspirations is the desire and the need to create my one music. The ,,Catalyst” for me was my sister how died in 2003 from cancer at the young age of 31 years. She always has supported me and encouraged steadfast to keep going on to make my one music.


Lisa : Let’s get this out of the way. What is the CRAZIEST thing that has ever happened to you in your music career?

A heavy storm blew my equipment away and damaged a big part of it, so the festival was cancelled.


Lisa :  What has been the high point of your music path?

The release of my Piece called Echo in June 2019.

Lisa :  Tell us about your songwriting process? How does a song come together for you?

The sounds and ideas in my head. Motivation and purpose.

Lisa :  What do you see as the biggest challenge facing Indie Artists today?

Find a good label, be able to make and hold a good name and get some fans.


Lisa : If you could share the stage with one other artist or band, who would it be and why?

Stephan Bodzin. He is an exceptional artist, producer and live performer.


Lisa : how do you prepare for a live show?

It requires a lot of preparation at the technical level, to have a beginning and an end. Have a good moment and get a good story.


Lisa :  Pick one song that was your greatest challenge to write. Tell us about it!

The Song City, coming out on the 14th. May 2020. This track took me a lot of time to gather the different sounds and put together a set.

Lisa : What does the future look like for Maxxx:

Live, Tour, Release more music, and play in places like Awakenings Festival, Time Warp, and Tomorrow Land.


Lisa : Which artists have had the biggest influence on you?

Eric Prydz, Stephan Bodzin, Boris Brejcha, Chris Liebing.

Lisa :  Tell us about your most recent single « City »

City is my last song coming out on the 14th. May 2020, in an Acid Techno style.
